After four years of providing voices to NYC's original Z-100 Morning Zoo, Anita's voiceover career began when she became APD at WNEW-AM -- where her voice appeared on everything from the Top-of-the-Hour ID to the company telephone system (a tradition she continued at 100.1 WJRZ).

Following six years covering Major League Baseball, Anita moved to syndicator SJS/ ProMedia. As Creative Services Director, she wrote, voiced, and produced comedy, features, and imaging for stations all across America.

Perhaps the only person in NYC radio history to serve as imaging voice for three different stations in three different formats in three different decades, Anita is well-known for her ability to deliver virtually any voice request, from narration to sound effects, on demand.
